 The rules

1. In order to win, participants must enter the secret word displayed on Cogeco and enter it in the password box pop-up for the contest. All questions must be filled in on the ballot.

2. No purchase is necessary. Participants may enter the contest in the following manner...
a) You may enter via www.festivaloftheislands.com Fill out the electronic ballot, you must include your name, address, age and telephone number.

3. The contest begins Tuesday, July 17, 2007with the acceptance of entries and will end on Friday, August 10, 2007. A random draw will be made from all entrants meeting criteria on August 13th, 2007. Winner will be notified by telephone within two (2) business days of their name being drawn. If after 2 business days from the day of their name being drawn the winner cannot be reached or has declined the prize, the winner is no longer eligible for the prize.

4. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. It is the winner's responsibility to arrange transportation to Gananoque, Ontario. Prizes are not transferable, if the winner is unable to attend and accept the prize as awarded, a secondary draw will take place until the prize is accepted. If a winner cannot be found by 5pm on Wednesday August 15th, 2007 to accept the prize, the contest at the discretion of the Judges, will be declared closed with no declared winner.

5. In order to claim the prize, the winner will be required to sign a standard declaration and release form. In the event that the winner refuses to sign the declaration or release form the entrant is no longer eligible for the prize.

6. This contest is open to all residents of Ontario or where void by law, who have reached the age of 18, except employees, their families and members of the same household of Cogeco Cable Canada Inc., or its contractors and volunteers, Festival of the Islands staff, volunteers, contest sponsors, their affiliated companies, their advertising and promotional agencies.

7. By entering this contest, each contestant consents to the use of their entry, name, city designation and/or photograph to be used in any publicity carried out by Cogeco and their advertising agencies, without further compensation. All entries become the property of Cogeco Community Television.

8. The chances of being selected depend upon the total number of entries received.

9. The Cogeco contest entry selection process is final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of the prizes.

10. All entries which are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform or satisfy any condition of the Rules may be disqualified by Cogeco or the judges. Cogeco takes no responsibility for lost, or misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production or distribution errors.

11. Cogeco and the Festival of the Islands will run this contest in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment. Cogeco and/or the Festival of the islands may, by announcement on TVCOGECO or on the Festival of the islands website during the contest, withdraw the contest at any time in the event of production or other unanticipated problems or irregularities. Contestants must comply with these Rules and will be deemed to have received and understood the Rules if they participate in the contest. If a discrepancy occurs between these rules and any promotion of the contest, these rules will be deemed to be correct.

12. The terms of this contest, as set out in these rules, is not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herin.
